Financial Planning Activities

I hold the NASD Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses, as well as the State of Michigan licenses for Life, Health, Property and Casualty, and Variable Contracts.

I worked for Prudential Financial Services for two years (1990-92) as a Registered Representative of Pruco Securities and an Agent of Prudential Insurance.

In 1992 I left Prudential to establish an independent financial services company, Hooks and Associates Financial Services.

In 1995 I joined the investment firm of James C. Butterfield, Inc., where my primary responsibility was for the operation of their bank investment centers. I left Butterfield in 1997 to return to my fee-based financial planning business.
